Who we are

Comfy Creative is a design and marketing studio based in Adelaide, South Australia. This policy explains how we collect, use and look after your personal information when you visit comfycreative.com.au or get in touch with us. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

We only collect what we need to reply to you and work with you. That may include:

  • your name, business name, email address and phone number
  • anything you tell us in a message or enquiry, such as the services you're interested in
  • details you share with us while we work together, such as website logins, brand files and content
  • basic, non identifying information about how people use our website, such as pages visited and the type of device used

How we collect it

Most information comes straight from you: when you fill in our contact form, email us, message us on social media or talk to us on a call. Our contact form is handled by our website host, Netlify, which passes your enquiry on to us by email.

How we use it

  • to reply to your enquiry and book a clarity call
  • to provide our services, send quotes and invoices, and keep you updated on your project
  • to improve our website and understand which pages are useful
  • to send you marketing emails, only if you've agreed to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Cookies and analytics

Our website may use cookies and analytics or advertising tools, such as Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel, to understand how people find and use the site and to measure our own advertising. These tools collect information about your visit, not your name. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.

Who we share it with

We never sell your personal information. We only share it with the trusted services we use to run our business, such as our website host, email and file storage providers, and accounting software, and only so they can do their job. We'll also share information if the law requires it.

Some of these providers store data outside Australia, for example in the United States. We choose reputable providers that take data security seriously.

Keeping it safe

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. Anything you share with us for a project, such as logins, is only used for that project, and we delete information we no longer need.

Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing hello@comfycreative.com.au. We'll get back to you within a reasonable time.

Questions or complaints

If you have a question or concern about your privacy, please email hello@comfycreative.com.au and we'll work through it with you. If you're not happy with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
